This CO2 shutoff with 1/4" MPT threading and check valve is ideal for use with CO2 regulators and manifolds! It has 1/4" MPT right-hand threading on one side that threads into most standard regulators and manifolds. On the other end is standard 1/4" MFL threading, which works perfectly with standard swivel nut sets and other 1/4" MFL fittings. If using a swivel nut set, we recommend using a plastic flare fitting as well, in order to create a good seal. Get one of these to replace a damaged or missing shutoff, put on a wye splittler, or create your own CO2 apparatus!

To make a metal on metal connection with a swivel nut sets, such as on a CO2 regulator, you need a flare fitting washer. This washer fits between the two connections and helps to make sure the connection is tight, so that you do not leak CO2 or liquid. Flare fittings should be used on all metal-to-metal connections. Keep a few spares handy in case you have to rig a connection at a moment's notice!
