From Johnson Controls, a trusted name in temperature control and thermostats, comes this handy external thermostat that can be used to keep your beer at just the right temperature! The unit consists of a probe that goes into your cooling device (refrigerator or freezer), an analog thermostat that ranges between 20 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit, and a power cord with plug outlet for the cooling device. Simply place the probe on the inside of your cooling device, plug your device into the unit, and set your temperature. Done! The unit will interrupt power to the cooling device when the temperature goes too far out of range of the set temperature.
Note: that there is a 3 ½ degree differential between the set point and the actual temperature. However, this range should have minimal effect on the actual beer temperature. Using this control, homebrewers have been able to make excellent lagers all year round, cold crash their beers, and so much more!

These check valves are the perfect solution to backflow issues that you may be having. They go on the gas side of a ball or pin lock gas system. They have an integrated back check valve that helps prevent flow from reversing, and fit on the 1/4" MFL fitting found on most standard ball or pin lock disconnects. Keep your gas lines clean with these as a preventative measure.
You can never have too many disconnects! For all your ball lock draft needs, Great Fermentations offers you these gas ball lock disconnects. Easy to take apart and clean, these are used with 5/16" ID Bevlex tubing on manifolds and splitters to carbonate multiple kegs at once. These disconnects have a 1/4" MFL connection, which is perfect for attaching a swivel nut set for myriad applications. They have a plastic end on the male flare fitting so you don't have to use a plastic flare fitting washer when connecting them to metal. Make sure you have enough on hand for all the kegging and draft projects your mind can come up with!
This is the part that really gets the beer flowing! Chrome-plated brass construction ensures for longevity of the coupler, so that you can keep the beer flowing keg after keg. This "D" style coupler is the standard coupler used by virtually all American and Canadian breweries, and as such, this is the most convenient keg coupler to own in North America. One of these allows you to tap almost any keg from any American or Canadian breweries. This coupler comes with a standard 5/16" gas barb, check valve and beer nut on the gas side. Not included with this coupler are the neoprene washer, 3/16" barb liquid tailpiece and beer nut.
Long and narrow, the dip tube brush was made specifically for cleaning out keg dip tubes. Being long and narrow themselves, dip tubes can be tricky to clean properly without the right tool. Cleaning out a dip tube with a dip tube brush ensures that you scrub the whole inner surface of the dip tube, where bacteria and beer stone can easily hide. These brushes are also good for cleaning sight glasses and other narrow brewing equipment. Another brush highly recommended to anyone who owns a keg!
Beer shanks to make all your dispensing dreams come true! These chrome plated brass shanks are used in a variety of setups to create draft systems. A 3/16" bore is perfect for liquid dispensing of all types, including sweet sweet beer. This 4" shank is a standard size (actual measurement is 4 1/8") and works on most applications. Simply drill out your hole, place your shank through, and lock in place with the included lock nut. A faucet can then be attached to the outside of your draft setup, whether it be a kegerator, keezer or jockey box! Also needed on the inside is a 3/16" tailpiece, neoprene beer washer and beer nut.
This is a male compression nut for beer towers. It goes in the end of a shank and accomodates a liquid tower elbow to get the beer flowing! You may also need a tower grommet to help create a good seal. With these, you should have the beer flowing from your tower in no time!
