The 2 liter capacity stir plate from StirStarter is a great piece of equipment to add to your brewery tool chest if you are making yeast starters. The RPMs can be adjusted with the built in voltage regulator (aka the little knob on the front) to create a good looking vortex, but the power is limited in such a way that it won't "throw" the stir bar out of whack. The unit measures 6" x 4" which is large enough for a 2L (2000 mL) flask, and comes with a 1" x 5/16" stir bar with a "keeper" magnet (helps to hold the stir bar in place when pitching).

NOTE: Ships with packaging pad to protect from damage in transit. Remove Stirstarter lid to remove pad before use!
