While it is possible to gravity feed the Chillzilla, using a brew pump like a Chugger Pump is recommended.

One of the most critical steps when brewing, is to get your boiling wort down to yeast pitching temps quickly. The quicker you can chill your wort, the less susceptible it will be to contaminants that can infect your beer and result in unhappy drinkers. An immersion chiller is a great solution to this challenge for the homebrewer, and hands down is the best upgrade a beginning brewer can make to their setup. Immersion chillers work via the process of heat exchange: cold water is run through the copper tubing, which is submersed in the hot wort. The cold copper in turn removes heat from your wort. Depending on how cold the water is running through the copper tubing, you can feasibly chill your wort in 15 minutes! Simple and effective.

Our Standard Immersion Wort Chiller is made from 25 feet of 3/8" USA made copper tubing, and is great for batch sizes of 5 gallons or less. To use, place the wort chiller into your brew pot during the last 15 minutes of the boil (keep the tubing outside of the pot and away from your heat source). Once you boil has finished, connect the water-in tube to a standard garden hose or utility faucet, and place your water-out tube in a drain or bucket. Next, just turn on your water (slower the water flow, the better) and watch your wort cool down fast!

The backflush assembly for the Blichmann Therminator is the perfect way to keep the inside of your Therminator free from any organic material that might get caught in the unit during use. It is an 18" length of 1/2" ID hose with garden hose thread and 1/2" quick connector on the ends. This assembly makes it easy to backflush your Therminator, thus keeping it clean. Highly recommended, as otherwise you can spend a great deal of time hooking up and disconnecting hoses for backflushing. Why make things harder than they need to be? Go simple, go with the Therminator's backflush assembly!

Stainless steel barbed fitting with 1/2" MPT on one end and a 1/2" barb on the other. Great for connecting a ball valve to 1/2" inner diameter tubing.

Full 1/2" FPT stainless steel coupler that can take a MPT connection on each side. Great for connecting other 1/2" fittings. Total length is 1.37"

Brass barbed fitting with 1/2" FPT on one end and a 1/2" barb on the other. Great for connecting your Chillzilla counterflow wort chiller with 1/2" tubing.

This garden hose adapter adapts garden hose style fittings to 3/8" tubing through a barbed fitting. These are often used in immersion wort chillers, but can be used in other applications as well. The fitting comes with a rubber washer to prevent leakage at the connection point.

Our Jumbo Immersion Wort Chiller is made from 50 feet of 3/8" high quality, USA made copper tubing. Great for batch sizes big and small, the extra long copper tubing means more surface area contact with your wort, which ultimately means faster cooling! To use, place the wort chiller into your brew pot during the last 15 minutes of the boil (keep the tubing outside of the pot and away from your heat source). Once you boil has finished, connect the water-in tube to a standard garden hose or utility faucet, and place your water-out tube in a drain or bucket. This mounting bracket allows you to mount the Blichmann Therminator plate chiller anywhere on your TopTier system that you choose. It is specifically designed for use with the Therminator and is perfect for mounting at any height you desire.
